Mie Uleg Original
Hand-pounded chili paste, garlic confit, lime, scallion oil. Tossed with chewy egg noodles, served cool.
Hand-pulled, mortar-pounded, slow-simmered. A small corner of Jakarta where every bowl takes its time — and so can you.
Mie Uleg Sedjuk began in 2014 as a humble gerobak on a side street — one stone mortar, two pots, and a stubborn belief that a noodle bowl should feel like a hug.
Word spread fast. A neighbour wrote about us in the local paper, and suddenly the queue stretched past the warung next door.
Today we still pound every chili paste by hand, in the same uleg, but with a proper roof and a few more bowls to share.
It started with one gerobak in 2014.

Japan-leaning · 14-hour broth
Tonkotsu broth simmered overnight, soft egg, sesame, charred scallion. Quiet, deep, restorative.
Vietnam meets Java
Star anise, lemongrass, kaffir lime. Rice noodles, slow-braised brisket, a generous handful of fresh herbs.
“Tasted like home — even though I've never been.”
“Their broth is therapy in a bowl. I come here on hard days.”
“Cozy, unhurried, and the chili paste is unreal.”
Tucked along Jatiwaringin with a kitchen you can hear humming. We don't take reservations — just walk in slow.
